National Inventory Manager

Phoenix, Arizona · Transportation/Logistics
This role oversees all inventory operations and lead a team on Inventory Managers at each location. This is an in-office role in central Phoenix.

Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of stock levels
    • Master inventory system
    • Monitor inventory counts and make recommendations for adjustments based on usage patterns and forecasts
    • Forecast efficient movement of inventory from job site-to-job site
    • Address and resolve issues related to overbookings, ensuring that inventory allocations are managed effectively to meet client demands and minimize conflicts
    • Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately recorded in the system
    • Manage inbound and outbound shipments via third-party logistics company
    • Create and manage to capital expenditure to budgets
    • Perform periodic cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
    • Investigate and resolve any variances found during cycle counts.
    • Oversee and participate in physical inventory counts to ensure inventory levels match recorded quantities
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate inventory audits
    • Develop and maintain cost models for vinyl manufacturing, including raw materials, labor, overhead, and production processes
    • Manage and facilitate the transfer of inventory between stores and job sites as needed
    • Ensure that transfer documentation is accurate and that inventory levels are updated accordingly
    • Support Sales and Project Managers on Production meetings
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficient practices
    • Support the process to account for accuracy and quality of equipment installed and the corresponding reconciliation of that equipment upon strike
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as inventory manager or similar position
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Working knowledge of inventory management software
  • Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
