Join a payroll, HR, and accounting team where your expertise directly impacts 1,800+ employees across the US and Canada. This role offers real ownership over the payroll lifecycle — from processing to compliance to process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Process and audit bi-weekly/semi-monthly US and Canadian payroll (multi-state, multi-provincial)
- Manage employee transactions: salary changes, benefit deductions, garnishments, leaves of absence, terminations, and stock/equity payments
- Onboard employees from Workday into ADP Workforce Now, ensuring proper system access
- Review timecards and resolve pay discrepancies before payroll finalization
- Partner with HR and Tax on 401(k)/RRSP administration, workers' comp, and audits
- Maintain SOX 404 controls for US and Canadian payroll
- Provide system training and support to employees and managers
- Recommend and implement process improvements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years processing US multi-state, multi-cycle payroll
- 2+ years processing Canadian multi-provincial payroll
- ADP Workforce Now experience highly desired
- Workday/HCM and SAP experience a plus
- CPP certification preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
