Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a senior lawyer with 5+ years of Project Finance experience to join the team as a Senior Associate or Senior Counsel. The candidate must have strong competence in drafting and negotiating the principal financing documentation. The ideal candidate will have a background in project finance within the renewable energy sector. Experience in reviewing project documentation is preferred. This role provides an opportunity to work on high-profile projects in renewable energy, energy storage, power generation, and other energy transition technologies.
This position may be located in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, or Washington, D.C. Please indicate your office(s) of interest in your application. A remote position may be allowed for select markets. The full time base annual salary for this position is expected to range between $365,000 - $450,000 depending on location. Bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years’ of experience as a projects finance lawyer.
- JD from top tier law school.
- Active Bar in state where position will be located
- Experience drafting and negotiating the principal financing documentation.
- Experience with renewable energy projects preferred.
- Experience reviewing project documentation preferred.
- Strong academic credentials.
