Experienced Accountant/Accounting Manager Needed for Growing Insurance Company
Join this dynamic team in Denver as an experienced Accountant/Manager with a growing insurance company. This role focuses on managing monthly general ledger cash account reconciliations for various entities within their group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage monthly cash account reconciliations
- Produce journal entries for monthly GAAP close
- Coordinate expense settlements between entities
- Support internal and external audits
- Assist with various financial projects and analyses
- Collaborate with colleagues across different locations
- Maintain internal control policies and compliance standards
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Insurance or financial services background highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- CPA preferred
